First time opening the app? Follow these extra steps to complete the first installation.

    Download and open the DMG.

    Only use the installer downloaded from this website.

  2. 2

    Move it to Applications.

    Drag Folder Studio into the Applications folder.

  3. 3

    Try opening it once.

    In Applications, Control-click Folder Studio and choose Open.

  4. 4

    Approve the first launch.

    If blocked, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

This approves Folder Studio only. You do not need to disable macOS security features.
